Events, seminars and networking

Throughout the year, we offer a broad programme of business events and seminars throughout the year often in conjunction with business organisations, such as the Institute of Directors, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Our programme culminates in our prestigious and highly popular Annual Business Lecture with keynote address by a well-known member of the UK business or government community.

We have also recently launched our programme of Worcesterpreneur events. This is a high profile series of events held on the first Wednesday of every month, focused on starting or growing a business within Worcestershire.  The events feature speakers, product/services demonstrations, exhibition stands, founders meetup area, music/entertainment and refreshments. Find out more.

Alternatively, we welcome the involvement from members of the business community like you to contribute to the delivery of our executive programmes or student modules. Typically this involves speaking as a guest lecturer and/or hosting Q & A sessions. Our speakers always find the experience hugely rewarding and provide opportunities for networking.

Many employers in the region have also benefited from arranged company visits. These offer opportunities for you to network and exchange ideas with businesses representatives locally and from overseas. Alternatively hosting a short tour by a small group of undergraduate or postgraduate students works your social responsibility agenda. In both cases there are usually PR spin-off benefits for your organisation.
