Go Green Weeks are organised by the University to encourage people to adopt 10 simple ways of living more sustainably.
What is Go Green Week?
Go Green Week offers students the opportunity to organise a range of fun and engaging activities to raise awareness of sustainable living. The events run over two weeks in the year: one in February is based on campus and the second in Spring is based in the City.
Go Green Week on campus
Go Green Week brings together a range of fun activities to transform campus life for one week in February and is designed and delivered by the ENMS1005 first year students, but anyone can join in and help. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn event organisation skills first-hand.
Go Green Week 2021 went online. Read about it and watch a summary video.
We were back on campus for Go Green Week 2022 as we began to move to a more typical pre-covid style week, however all activities took place outside. Please watch our short videos. Click here for 2022 and view the video below for 2023.
Go Green Week in the city
We also work with many organisations, including Heart of Worcestershire College, Crown Estate and Worcester City Council, where students lead on organising a week of activities in Worcester city centre. Covid stopped this taking place for the past two years
