The Trade Union (Facility Time Publication Requirements) Regulations 2017 took effect on 1 April, and introduced a new requirement for all Higher Education Institutions in England and Scotland to publish certain information on trade union officials and facility time.

Facility Time is the provision of paid or unpaid time off from an employee’s normal role to undertake TU duties and activities as a TU representative.

The information below is for the period 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018. This will be updated on an annual basis in July each year.
