I’ve spent 4 years at the University of Worcester and I truly had an amazing time. The University was supportive from day one, helping us, international students, make friends and adapt to a new environment. During my second year, I made a choice to take a semester at our partner university in Germany. The International Office and my lecturers were very helpful in the process and thanks to all of them I had a brilliant time experiencing German culture, improving my German language skills and, most importantly, making lots of friends.

Even during my semester abroad, I was in touch with professional advisors from the University of Worcester, who were helping me to organize a year-long work-placement in the industry. I received help from several people in terms of my CV, cover letters, application forms and even preparation for the competency based interview which I had just a few weeks after I returned from Germany. As a result, I secured a placement at Worcestershire’s NHS Finance.

During the placement I was able to apply the knowledge gained at the University and equally, the experience was very vital during my final year and helped me to reach my potential and secure a job of my dreams.

During my 4 years at the University, there has been a huge transformation of the St John’s campus, its library, sporting and dining facilities as well as the opening of the fabulous City Campus. It is notable that the university is flourishing, making the student experience even more exciting. I believe that the University of Worcester is becoming a highly respected and popular university. With the picturesque City of Worcester, busy cultural and sport scene, lively bars and restaurants, University of Worcester has all it needs.
