Business Management BA (Hons) Top-up

Worcester has been such a wonderful journey for me that I would fall short of pages to pen down my feelings and experiences. Worcester is very peaceful and beautiful. The climate is cool and summers are beautiful. Living and travel expenses are very low. It’s a university city and majority of the population are students. There are a number of libraries situated all around. The main point which I personally feel important is that Worcester is a very safe place to live.

When I first arrived, it was a huge culture shock. In the beginning it was hard, because your value systems are different and your backgrounds are different. The University was supportive from day one, helping international students make friends and adapt to new environment. I was really surprised by how much people wanted to help me when they discovered that I was an international student.

I went to University of Worcester for a Top-up Degree in BA for one year. I knew that being part of this program would give me the opportunity to integrate with the community, to know more people, and to have something to do once I got there apart from just studying. The University is a really good place for students to feel supported. I have never found that I have been on my own. There is always been a support and resources to help me.

The international office and lecturers were very helpful during my term and thanks to all of them I had brilliant time in experiencing culture, improving my language skills and most importantly making lot of friends.

During my year 1 at university, I had a huge transformation in myself. Worcester offers a great student experience from the quality of degrees and learning opportunities, to campus environments, range of facilities, sports clubs, lively bars, restaurants and societies and social scene.

After my graduation, I came to my homeland. Now I am working as Manager Marketing and Public Relations in the 3rd largest manufacturing factory of Tractors, Farm All Technology.
