I found University of Worcester completely by chance through Study Across the Pond’s web site. The thought of studying outside my country’s borders didn’t even occur to me until the advisor at my High School suggested it to me and showed me to the page. I browsed through the appealing courses and landed on three universities. Got accepted to all three, but chose Worcester due to being affordable, great student friendly location and seemed like a great school.

I’m in my second year and so far, I don’t regret my choice one bit. The lecturers know what they’re talking about and only want for you to succeed. They follow you every step of the way. As an international student, it may seem scary at first, but the international team and all the university personnel is there to help and support you. It may be a small university in comparison to others in England, but that’s what makes us so close to everyone. At least that’s what’s helping me get through my degree.

If anyone asks me “Why study at University of Worcester?” My answer would be; because the support as a student and an international is superb and the city is one of the safest and very student friendly.
