How does it work?

Springboard roles are typically entry-level, short-term work experience projects with real employers and at a maximum of 20hrs per week they are designed to fit around your studies. Most opportunities are paid though some are voluntary and we work with an ever increasing range of large employers, SME’s, start-ups and charities in Worcestershire and West Midlands.

Although some roles are better suited to certain year groups, most Springboard roles are open to everyone so you can start applying for opportunities from your first year right up until just after graduation. In a nutshell, Springboard will increase your employability and offer you the opportunity to:

  1. Build a fantastic CV of real-life work experience
  2. Develop a Business-ready mindset and key skills such as self-awareness, communication and problem solving abilities
  3. Put your classroom learning into practice ready for graduation
  4. Build a network of professional contacts to use in the future
