Teaching Interests

My teaching style consists of problem-based learning techniques where students learn about a subject through understanding and solving problems.

Recent teaching and learning conference presentation

19th Annual Teaching and Learning Conference. Theme: Learning for Life; meaningful assessment for the changing world of tomorrow. Oral presentation: ‘Game-based learning as a platform for formative assessment in Higher Education’ Konstantinos Papadopoulos. London, UK, 6th Sept 2019.

Research Interests

I am research active Physiotherapist; member of several research groups. I was a NHS honorary researcher for 7 years and I conducted a number of projects in NHS settings aiming to bridge the gap between evidence-based research and clinical practice.

Research Output and Interests

  • Research focus on musculoskeletal conditions of upper and lower limb
  • Great interest in patellofemoral pain syndrome assessment and treatment
  • Previous research focused on validation and cultural adaption of outcome measures e.g. questionnaires and scales for lower limb assessment
  • Keen on motion analysis research, dynamometers
  • Interest in qualitative, quantitative and mixed method designs

Membership of Professional Bodies

  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP number 052997)
  • Health and Care Professions Council registered (PH114482)
