Kay has several years of senior environmental and ecology consultancy experience delivering consultancy projects in renewable energy technologies, contaminated land remediation, biodiversity offsetting and ecological assessment for UK organisations. She is qualified as an environmental and quality lead auditor, has implemented environmental management systems for both UK and multinational organisations and has trained environmental and quality assessors.

In previous roles Kay gained senior project management and purchasing management experience in international automotive companies. She project managed the implementation of sustainable supply chain strategies, new vehicle projects and EU REACH Regulations.

Kay’s specialisation is in, Sustainable Management including Environmental and Social Governance, Environmental Management and Justice, Social Responsibility and Economic Sustainability. Her latest research projects involve enhancing Education for Sustainable Development through edutainment and real-world experiential learning, rethinking the engagement of commuter students, and improving energy efficiency and conservation activities within small and medium businesses.
