Creating Inclusive Environments

This section has been developed to provide a whole host of ideas and tools with the aim of inspiring the development of inclusive school environments. The links and resources include information and support in terms of resources, activities, lesson plans, classroom design and school ethos. By creating a positive and inclusive environment, this page aims to support and pave the way for schools to tackle negative behaviour, language and attitudes towards a variety of LGBT-related issues. When compiling this page it has become clear that the key is to start small. Find inspiration here for yourself or borrow a bit of someone else’s and get started!
