I am a lecturer in Geography, Mathematics, Science and Professional Studies on the PITE course alongside supervising dissertation students on the Primary Outdoor Education course.  Returning to the University of Worcester to teach trainee teachers has been a dream come true as it gives me the opportunity to re-create for future trainees, the incredible experience I had here whilst I was working towards my undergraduate degree.

Before my role as a lecturer, I led Science and Mathematics in Primary schools in the West Midlands and in the Middle East as a primary school teacher. Along with these responsibilities I have been a teacher across Key Stages 1 and 2 and have supported teaching and learning in both SATs year groups. These previous experiences allowed me to take up a role with STEM learning supporting primary schools and science networks to embed STEM into their curriculum and make use of people in their community with STEM expertise.
