Emma graduated from the University of Worcester in 2019 with a First Class Honours in Sports Therapy, twice receiving an academic scholarship. 

Since graduating, Emma has worked locally in her own private clinic, gaining valuable clinical experience and skills which she now uses to supervise and teach students on clinical modules.

Alongside her clinical work, Emma has also supported local sports teams such as Malvern RFC, Worcester Warriors Academy Centre of Excellence, Malvern Town FC, and Worcester City FC as well as providing placements for students.

Emma first began teaching by delivering various regulated first aid courses, alongside this, Emma became an Associate Lecturer for the University in September 2022 before progressing to full-time roles as Clinical Skills Demonstrator in December 2022 and Lecturer in 2023.

Emma is currently working towards her MPhil, researching the arthrokinematic and functional changes that occur with ankle instability.
