The University hosted 19 exhibitors who showcased their products and services to an audience consisting of investors, students and community influencers.

The fair also provided an opportunity for students who are interested in business to speak to local entrepreneurs and members of the business community and seek guidance on how they could move their own business ideas from a concept in to reality. Stallholders were also given the opportunity'to do an elevator pitch to the audience, who voted and picked winners in best pitch and best business idea categories. Sponsored prizes for the best pitches were handed out by Will Cadbury from SME solicitors.

Nicholas Bancroft, Enterprise Manager at the University's Business School, said: "We'd like to say a big thank you to our corporate partners, Barclays Bank and Wynne Jones Intellectual property specialists, both of whom proudly support our annual #Worcesterpreneur programme of events across the whole calendar year."

Businesses in attendance spanned sectors such as retail, flexible office retailing, creative media, online food, website developers, health wellbeing and nutrition, consultancy services and graphic design agencies.

Also in attendance were some of the University's Entrepreneur's in Residence who are supporting the University and its students in a number of innovative ways.

Mr Bancroft said: "Next year we look forward to moving into a bigger venue to cater for the demand this exciting event is creating."
