The Start-up Fair, at its Riverside venue, on Thursday April 25th at 6pm, now in its third year, is the last in the University’s annual business events calendar.  It brings together students and local micro-enterprises from all stages in their development, from pre-start-up through to those that are already trading.

Nicholas Bancroft, Enterprise Manager at the University of Worcester, said: “For those taking part in the showcase, this is a great opportunity to promote their ideas, products and services to a wider audience, and most importantly of all, to network, but the event is also a great opportunity for those who simply want to come along and find out more about business locally.

“You may be exploring a career change, looking for inspiration, seeking some free advice and guidance, or simply wanting to share your experiences with your own business endeavours.  You may even be looking for that next investable opportunity.

“No matter what stage you are at or which direction you are coming from, if you have an interest in business locally, this event has something to offer, and it’s free.”

Attendees for 2019 include Worcester Business Central, Worcester City Economic Development Team, Barclays and Natwest banks, accountants Kendall Wadley, crowdfunding and branding experts Brand Refinery, and intellectual property specialists Wynne Jones IP.
