Our courses draw on the full range of facilities available at the University.
An empty Humanities classroom

Humanities courses are taught in modern rooms, fully equipped to meet the range of learning and teaching approaches that we deploy.

Students currently make use of open-access spaces across the University available for self-directed study outside formal teaching sessions.

The Hive, our stunning library and history centre built between the St John’s and City Centre campuses, houses extensive humanities and social sciences book, journal and DVD collections that are continuously being added to and updated.

History students benefit, especially, from the facilities and activity of the history centre, with which the History staff team has strong links.
