Thomas Gill

Thomas Gill is graduating in September with a degree in Forensic Psychology and said his university experience had been filled with interesting activities.

Thomas joined the university after completing his A-levels. “I had developed an interest in psychology and the criminal side of psychology from studying psychology at A-level,” he said. “When researching and visiting universities before I joined, Worcester piqued my interest, and I liked the sound of how the course was structured and the lecturers I met at open days seemed passionate and engaging. It worked out as I really enjoyed the course, particularly the modules associated with forensic psychology.”

Thomas said the three years passed by in a flash and he’s now exploring his options for his future.

“Graduating honestly feels quite weird,” he said. “The three years of the course have gone by so quickly; I had a great time and I think that’s why it feels so quick. I am proud of myself and honestly relieved all my assignments are done. In a way I am sad that it’s pretty much over especially considering how quick it felt but I’m also excited for what’s next. A real mix of emotions really.”

The University’s annual autumn Graduation Ceremonies will take place as planned from September 12-14 in the beautiful and historic Worcester Cathedral followed by celebration receptions at the City Campus. No Worcester graduates have been affected by the marking and assessment boycott.
