Advice on travelling to Worcester and what to do when you arrive.
The nearest airport (45 mins) to University of Worcester is Birmingham International Airport. This is a regional airport and usually very easy to arrive at and quick to get through immigration and customs. If you can, we advise you book a flight which brings you into Birmingham.
Our airport pick-up service for September 2020 has now closed.
If you would prefer to travel to Worcester independently please see our guidance on travelling independently for information on how to travel to Worcester.
Once your travel plans are arranged please submit an Arrival Form on our International Welcome Guide app to inform of us of when you intend to arrive so that we can be prepared to welcome you.
Air travel guidance
Please note that immigration procedures at Heathrow can take up to three hours to complete.
We advise Non-EU students not to come via Republic of Ireland as you will not have the required visa stamp put into your passport. If you do come into England via this route it is essential that you ask to see a visa official before you go through customs. They will then give you the required entry clearance. Failure to do this will mean that you will be asked to leave England and re-enter.
Where to go when you arrive at the University
All new students joining us this semester are required to submit an Arrival Form on our International Welcome Guide app. Once you have submitted this form we will contact you to confirm when and how we will welcome you on campus.
If you are having trouble downloading the app please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
