General Timetabling Information

Classes may be timetabled between 09:15-21:15 Monday to Thursday and 09:15-18:15 on Friday.

For software reasons it is necessary to use week numbers, rather than dates, in online and printed timetable reports and they should be referred to in order to aid booking or timetabling requests or enquiries.

A list of timetabled rooms, including capacity and whether the room contains modern equipment can be found here.

Live daily timetables are displayed on screens at St Johns Reception, City Reception, Jenny Lind Reception, Riverside Reception, Arena Reception and Shelia Scott. Live weekly timetables can be found on staff and student webpages for the current and following weeks.

It is University policy that staff should finish their session at least five minutes before the scheduled end time. This is to allow the next group to access the room so that sessions can begin as close as possible to the stated start time.

Our current system does not allow rooms to be double booked. If you believe you are supposed to be in a room which is already occupied please contact us on extension 5344 so we can check for you. It is useful if you are able to tell us who or which module is already using the room.

Timetable Change Request Template

Please see below our Timetable Change Request Template for 2018/2019. This has been created to enable staff members to inform us of any changes they would like to make to a module.

Please note that all requests must be submitted via the Timetable Change Request Template and that all forms must be sent to us via a Timetable Rep.
