Managing Online Timesheets

The University uses an internal online timesheet system for the payment of:

  • Hours worked by hourly-paid workers including Student Ambassadors, Show Room Ambassadors, Media Lab Interns, Enterprise Support workers and other student Earn as You Learn roles.
  • Students and staff working hours as Destination of Higher Education Leavers (DHEL) surveys 
  • Additional hours worked by members of staff in their existing roles.

In order to be able to access an online timesheet, the member of staff or student must have a staff number and been added to the HR System. If a student is no longer on an active course, but is still working for the University, they will need to contact HR in order to be added to the online timesheets.

Students can access their on-line timesheets through their SOLE pages.

Staff can access their on-line timesheets through their Staff Log-in page.

On-line timesheet claims made and approved before the 10th of each month will be paid in that calendar month by bank account transfer (BACS). Claims made and approved after this date may not be paid until the following month's pay date.
