We have a range of facilities on campus to help you make the most of student life.
Our campus facilities
Our St John's Campus, City Campus and Severn Campus are all within a 20-minute walk of each other. You can easily travel between our campuses using our closely linked footpaths, bus services and cycle routes. Our nearby Lakeside Campus is only a 10-minute drive away too.

St John's Campus facilities
Many of our student life facilities are based on our main St John's Campus.
firstpoint is your first point of contact for student enquiries. It is based in the Peirson and Study Guidance Centre and offers a range of student services and support.
Services at firstpoint include:
- support and wellbeing
- counselling and mental health
- disability and dyslexia support
- careers and employability
- money advice and student finance

The Students' Union is home to the Hangar, which is a great place to socialise and enjoy some downtime. This SU offers a shop, cafe, meeting spaces and a large bar.
The SU is also the best place to find out about societies, sports and volunteering opportunities, to help you make the most of student life here. For more information, visit the Students' Union website.
There is an on campus shop where you can buy most of the basics, plus additional items such as stationery, University branded clothing and cards. This can be found in the Students' Union
on St John’s Campus.
Catering and cafes
Our new 53.3 Degrees coffee bar offers Fairtrade coffee, frappes, lemonade coolers, shaken iced tea, iced drinks, teas and seasonal drinks. You can find the 53.3 Degrees cafe next to Main Reception in the Edward Elgar Building.
If you prefer Starbucks Coffee, we have The Rock Cafe at St John's Campus and facilities at our busy City Campus Café.
If you are looking for something more substantial, Made Food Court located in the Main Dining Hall at St John’s Campus is the perfect place.
The Hangar and Student's Union Shop offer ranges of food and drink to suit a variety of needs.

Gym membership is included for resident students living in Halls of Residence or University managed properties.
As a Worcester student, you can access the facilities at St John's Sports Centre and the McClelland Centre (at City Campus).

All rooms in Halls have a high-speed internet access point. Wireless access is also available at hotspots throughout the campus. When you register as a student, you can also download free Microsoft Office software through the ICT Service Desk. For more information on campus Wi-Fi and downloading software, please visit the ICT Service students page.
The University Security Staff are here to help you. They are on site 24 hours every day and provide security across all University sites. They are based at Main Reception in the day and in the Security Office in the Worcester Halls in the evening.
Their principal role is to provide you with a safe and secure environment in which to live and study. If you need their services you can go to reception or the Halls Security Office, or telephone the main switchboard on 01905 855000 (just dial 0 on an internal telephone).
