University Opens Its Doors to Prospective Students

Prospective students will get the chance to see exactly what the University of Worcester has to offer at four separate open events over the coming month.

Beginning on Thursday, 31st October, between 12pm and 4pm, visitors will be able to take campus tours, view presentations and speak to staff and current students, whilst also taking a look at the University’s numerous impressive new developments.

Our open events are based primarily at our St John’s campus, home to our new Peirson Study and Guidance Centre, new and refurbished halls of residence, recently opened science laboratories and the fully refurbished Students’ Union.

There will be a shuttle bus service in operation, giving visitors the opportunity to view the City Campus – situated just over the River Severn – along with several multi-million pound University developments which lie between the two campuses.

These include the University of Worcester Arena – the country’s only fully inclusive sporting arena – Riverside, which provides additional specialised space for Sport, Performance and Dance, and The Hive, Europe’s first joint University and public library.

Our open events are designed to be flexible, so you can tailor your visit to suit exactly what you want to find out. We run key talks throughout the event, so you don’t have to be the first through the door to find out about study choices, accommodation options, our commitment to environmental sustainability and anything else you need to know about life in Worcester.

Further open events take place on Friday 1st November (12pm to 4pm), Wednesday 13th November (12pm to 4pm) and Sunday 1st December (10am to 3pm).
