People visiting the University of Worcester’s Open Day this month will have the opportunity to take a free dyslexia screening test.

The online 30 minute test is aimed at indicating the probability of someone having dyslexia. The University’s Disability and Dyslexia advisors will also be on hand to talk to people.

The tests are a new addition to the Open Day, which takes place on Sunday, September 13, and are aimed at helping those who are keen to study at university.

The Open Day will also provide an opportunity for potential applicants to attend personal statement clinics, aimed at helping people to improve their written submissions.

In addition, there will also be a chance to watch a Worcester Wolves pre-season match in the University of Worcester Arena.

The Open Day takes place between 10am and 3pm and also includes tours of the University’s facilities, including the award-winning Hive and University of Worcester Arena, a chance to meet and chat to lecturers and students, and generally find out more about studying at Worcester.
