Students Work to Go On Display at End of Degree Show

An impressive display of art work by University of Worcester students will open to the public next week.

Students from all of Worcesterís art, design and media courses, including Graphic Design and Multimedia, Illustration, Animation, Creative Digital Media,†Digital Film Production and Fine Art, will be exhibiting.

The Degree Show opens on Wednesday, May 23rd when students will be joined at the Private View by family, friends and industry representatives. It then opens to the public the following day through till Saturday, May 26th from 10am-4pm. Admission is free.

Helen Holmes, Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design said: ďThe quality of our studentsí work is truly inspiring this year, and the shows are an excellent way to showcase their talent. We are expecting a large number of visitors, including many industry and education specialists from all over the country. Each year our students receive job offers on the spot, which is testimony to the hard work and dedication of both students and staff. We hope this year will be no exception. Iím very proud to have worked with our design and media students of 2012.Ē

Work by students on design and media courses will be on display in the Digital Arts Centre at St Johnís Campus. Work by students on the art and design courses will be on display at The Garage, on Hylton Road, a short walk from St Johnís Campus.
