Teachers, students and coaches with a passion for football are invited to sign up for special course exploring UK and Brazil methods of the game.
The Brazil-UK Football Development Course takes place at the University of Worcester this summer and offers a chance to work with professionals from both nations.
It is an opportunity to enhance coaching skills, exchange practice and gain a University of Worcester & University of São Paulo Certificate of Attainment.
Course leader Glyn Harding said: “This course is of interest to football coaches, teachers and students with an interest in ‘the beautiful game’ and developing young players.
“Coaching styles will be presented to students through practical examples directly applicable to football. These areas will be approached from combined Brazilian and English viewpoints.
“The course will provide a unique opportunity for coaches to meet others from a nation where football is the major sport, so that ideas and methodologies can be explored and discussed.”
The course’s staff will include UEFA A licence coaches, experience Brazilian coach educators and lecturers.
The course takes place from July 16-20 and costs £450, or £680 for those requiring accommodation. For further information visit www.worcester.ac.uk/discover/brazil-uk-football-development-course or email firstname.lastname@example.org
