Moving on: finding employment and further study

The Careers Service work closely with national and local employers to publicise job vacancies.

We are keen to promote the benefits of part time work on campus as this can really boost your employability as well as bringing you some extra cash. Opportunities exist to take on part-time work alongside your studies. Many students apply to become Student Ambassadors, taking on a wide variety of work including helping out on Open Days and giving campus tours. The University also recruits students to work with the local community as Worcester Outreach Workers, while the Disability and Dyslexia Service employs note-takers to support students during lectures. Other part time jobs are available within the Students Union, Facilities, the Library, and Catering services.

We recognise the challenges facing graduates in finding work upon graduation, and the University of Worcester  is working with Graduate Advantage to find paid internship opportunities for graduates across the West Midlands.
