Mark loves teaching advertising to students. His teaching style is creative, fast-paced and serious fun. He has won teaching awards in 2012 and 2013.

Mark brings years of practitioner experience to the Business School.  He still works in advertising and marketing so he can bring up to date business topics and some of his business colleagues to the classroom.

Mark started work as a trainee journalist at Express Newspapers later moving to the sales team for the Daily Star. He then worked for five years at The Economist Newspaper and later joined LBC Radio in London.

He was one of the first people to join the team that successfully launched Classic fM in 1992, where he worked in the sales team, as well as launching radio stations in Finland, Holland and Sweden. He also trained as a radio presenter.

Mark delivers consultancy for Shell’s Global Retail Team and occasional consultancy for the University of Worcester, the Royal Sun Alliance Group, and London advertising agencies.

Since 2000 Mark has delivered management consultancy to Thales (for the Ministry of Defence), Worcestershire’s Museum, Arts and Heritage community, WS Atkins, DAS Insurance, Cable and Wireless, B&Q, and the Crown Prosecution Service.
