An annual charity quiz night at the University of Worcester raised a record £1,172.
Forty-two teams took part in this year’s event in aid of the University’s Charity of the Year, Acorns Children’s Hospice.
This year’s champions, for the second year running, were ‘Ghost Cheese’, led by accommodation manager Judith Bick.
Quiz Master, Chris Dunn, said: “It was a superb evening with record attendance and a record amount raised. Each year it keeps getting bigger and better, so who knows what next year will bring.”
