Information for students, staff and partners about the coronavirus and our response at the University of Worcester.
The World Health Organisation has labelled the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, defined as a disease that is spreading in multiple countries around the world at the same time.
Government announcement - Monday 22 February
The Government published their ‘roadmap’ for the relaxation of restrictions related to Covid-19 on 22 February:
COVID-19 Response - Spring 2021
We expect the majority of students at the University of Worcester to ‘return’ to campus from March 8 onwards. While teaching online will continue wherever it is reasonably possible, classes which demand the use of specialist facilities and which can only reasonably take place in person, will resume. We will be writing to students and publishing further guidance on these pages shortly.
