Rebecca Mapp, from Knighton-on-Teme, achieved First Class Honours in her Environmental Science degree.

“I am very proud and delighted to have achieved such a good classification whilst holding down a full time job at the Old Rectory in Tenbury Wells,” said the 26-year-old. “I would like to thank all my colleagues, family and managers - Nicola Howells and Ann Rogers - for their continued support and for spurring me on to do so well.”

Having juggled study with full time work throughout her degree, Rebecca now intends to take some time to reflect and plan her next move.

“Having had a vast amount of field experience on my course, and having contributed to conservation efforts both here in the UK and abroad, I feel the course really will stand me in good stead for a range of opportunities in the future,” she said, “but in the meantime, I am enjoying my current job, as well as the opportunity to have a little down time after such a busy period.”
