Scholarships for your country

Students are entitled to the following scholarships:

International Scholarship Criteria

International (Non-EU) students are eligible to apply for scholarships up to £2000 each. The University Scholarship Committee will assess the candidates' applications based on their academic merits and award the best ones who match the criteria. Academic Scholarships

The University awards scholarships of £3000 to eligible undergraduate students who achieve average of 5 from Vitnemal, £2,000 for an average of 4 from Vitnemal and £1,000 of 3.5 from Vitnemal. Students do not apply for these scholarships as they are awarded to eligible students with the best academic profiles across the University. 

University Scholarships (Extra-Curricular Activities)

Students have the opportunity twice a year to apply for funds, up to £1000, to assist them with activities such as:

• Voluntary activities which are community based, either in the UK or abroad
• Activities related to a past-time or interest in which the student is involved (e.g. music or some other arts-based area; elite sport)

Entry requirements

Entry Requirements

Please use the information below as a guide. Other qualifications, such as work experience, may also be taken into consideration in addition to the requirements listed below and all applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Higher National Diploma (HND) or Foundation (FdA/FdSc) courses may ask for a lower grade and some specialist BA/BSc courses may have a higher requirement. Specific course requirements can be found on individual course pages.

Undergraduate (courses requiring a UCAS tariff range of 96-112)


Pass the Vitnemål fra den Videregående skole with an overall score of 3 or above, with a minimum grade 3 or above in English Language or an English Language qualification equivalent to a IELTS of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any component) or equivalent.

Other equivalent English qualifications will be considered.

Pass the Candidatus Magisterii with a minimum of C or above, with a minimum IELTS of 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in any component) or equivalent.

Other equivalent English qualifications will be considered.
