Ashley Goffe graduates from the University of Worcester today with a degree in Sports Studies and a new business under his belt.
The 23-year-old, from Bromsgrove, said he had always had a passion for sport and fitness and a career in that field was his goal.
Since graduating, he has established his own business, Blast Nutrition, alongside his job as a Health Club Manager in Northampton.
“The business came about as part of an assignment to create a business plan,” he said. “So far we have established links with a number of gyms in the Midlands and are looking to expand further with larger leisure providers and working with some established and up and coming athletes.
“We are also keen to work with the University to give students from a range of disciplines the opportunity to have their work featured on our website and through social media.”
On his time at the University of Worcester, the former Worcester Sixth Form College student said: “The University of Worcester’s reputation for sport degrees was a huge factor in my decision to study here. During my studies I was able to work with some great lecturers who take pride in their work and I learnt a range of skills that have helped me throughout working life. I would like to thank all the staff at the University for all their help and support throughout my time there.”
