Verity began her PhD studentship in the School of Sport and Exercise Science in October 2015. The PhD thesis is titled:

Inspiring a Generation: A critical examination of governing actors, policy and legacy discourses.

Teaching & Research

Alongside her PhD, Verity has ongoing teaching and research commitments, current she is actively exploring:

  • Sport and diplomacy
  • Governance and regulation of sports organisations nationally and internationally
  • Diversity and inclusivity of the sport sector workforce.
