Suzanne taught in schools for 20 years and gained experience in every year group from Reception to Year 6. She has worked at the University of Worcester since 2011 (part-time) and became a full-time lecturer in January 2016. Her passion is to support the mental health and wellbeing of students, teachers and children. She is trained to qualify people to become Youth Mental Health First Aiders.

Suzanne is a Personal and Academic Tutor supporting a group of School Direct trainees. She is Module Leader of an innovative UG module entitled ‘Developing Self’ and is also module leader of an Education and Inclusion department module called ‘Exploring Child and Adolescent Mental Health’. She also lectures in Primary Science and Art.
