Before joining the staff of the School of Education, Linda worked as a teacher of science, specialising in Physics, as an Advisory Teacher for secondary science and as an education researcher. She has been involved in the initial teacher training and continuing professional development of many secondary teachers in our partnership schools. 

For the past ten years Linda has also been involved in the management of the STEM Ambassador Programme hosted by the University of Worcester. This provides support for teachers and organisers of voluntary organisations to enrich the Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Computing experiences of young people across the region. In 2017 her involvement evolved into the role of STEM Education Consultant for the West Midlands STEM Ambassador Hub.
