Before joining the University Judy was a Psychology teacher at a large secondary school in Cheltenham. This followed a successful career in Primary and Secondary Special Education where she worked with young people with very challenging behaviours. Following this, Judy was involved in establishing and managing an education unit for young women with severe eating disorders.
Since joining the University Judy has successfully undertaken a variety of roles including developing and managing the Psychology ITE Programme which she continues to lead.
Each year, Judy hosts a number of CPD events for teachers and has delivered CPD in partnership schools.
In addition, Judy co-ordinates the School Direct Secondary ITE programme working with a variety of School Direct Alliances across the region.
