If you have Type 1 Diabetes you and you love the idea of being more active this event is for you. It might be that you want to take part in sport or maybe you just want to go shopping, mow the lawn or clean the car without fear of going hypo?
This event is organised by Chris Bright, founder of The Diabetes Football Community and Paul Coker the founder of 1BloodyDrop.com. Chris & Paul have lived with Type 1 diabetes for more than 60 years between them and understand the importance of being active.
The list of speakers is still being finalised. However, we already have a great line up of speakers including Dr Partha Kar (Diabetologist & social media legend), Melanie Gray (Type 1 Athlete - Sprinter), Alex Richards (Sports Psychologist), Brian Hoadley (Type 1 Marathon Runner), EXTOD (the great a good of diabetes and sport from a diabetologists point of view), Craig Stanley (professional soccer player with Type 1) and of course Chris Bright & Paul Coker.
We recommend that children should be aged 12 years and over, young people under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult
