7th International Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) Conference, Tuesday 5th - Thursday 7th July 2022

It is with great sadness and disappointment that we have made the decision to cancel TGfU2022. Unfortunately, we have had so few people be able to commit to travel to Worcester. We do not think there is anything to blame other than the pandemic here – we know that the world is not able to commit to travel in the usual way at this time.
To those of you who have already registered for the conference you will, of course, receive a full refund for your event fee. For email enquiries please contact TGfU@worc.ac.uk
When we first bid to host the TGfU conference way back in 2015, we were excited about the prospect of bringing the TGfU world to Worcester. We are quite heart-broken not to be able to do so.
However, we wanted to share a heart-felt ‘thank you’ to everyone who has given their support over the past few years. So many people would have come if they were able to commit – it is so unfortunate and disappointing that it has not worked out that way.
We do hope that some of you will be able to share your potential contribution in a different way through the 40th anniversary events and we will be working the TGfU Special Interest Group to support some of these activities.
We also wanted to take this opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to the TGfU Special Interest Group for having the faith in us to award us such a prestigious event and for supporting us throughout the process, two delays and various other bumps in the road. The University of Worcester remains totally committed to the TGfU community and we look forward to continuing our journey together over the coming years.

We will do our best to ensure that the event goes ahead, but we reserve the right to cancel at any time. If we do so (other than for reasons outside of our control), we will refund your event fee in full but will have no further liabilities to you. In particular we will not meet the costs of any pre-booked travel or external accommodation.
