STEM ambassadors
Through a range of activities, including presentations, mentoring and careers talks, STEM Ambassadors play an essential role in inspiring the next generation with the world of STEM subjects and careers. Their support isn't just limited to the classroom - STEM Ambassadors also volunteer in STEM Clubs, youth and community groups and at public events, individually or with their employers' programmes.

Could you be a CREST Assessor? CREST is a scheme where young people take on the role of a scientist or engineer through a wide range of projects and activities. It offers them the opportunity to achieve a recognised award, develop life skills and question the stereotypes of what it is to be a scientist. CREST Assessors help develop students’ interest and attitudes towards science, along with their scientific and project skills, by assessing their projects via an online platform, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. Full online training will be provided by the British Science Association. For further details, along with a person specification, please see the job description available here.

When face-to-face activities possible again, we will let you know how to request the resources and the terms and conditions involved.
