Broadcasting sporting events live using streaming media will increase your audience size and capacity and could also help to bring additional revenue streams for your event / organisation.
The University of Worcester Arena is at the cutting edge of live streaming with cameras discreetly positioned around the main arena hall. Our highly experienced in-house technical team can offer a variety of packages to suit your every need and indeed every budget!
Whether you require a full scale production with pre and post-match interviews, sound and commentary or static cameras for performance analytics, we can help. From start to finish the Arena team take the additional stress and administrative burden out of broadcasting to bring you a full, well-conceived and highly professional broadcast.
Below is an example of the live streaming service provided for the England Basketball National Cup Final held at the University of Worcester Arena in January 2014.
The below link shows an example of the holding page which viewers would see whilst waiting for the stream to ‘go live’:
The link below shows the quality of the live stream and footage taken from the event:
This clip is held on the University’s streaming server therefore there will be a delay whilst loading but the quality is what the viewer would see. The output is web stream quality, as the University Arena has a 1 Gigbit link outbound, therefore the quality is almost video like for the viewer.
All packages include web page design which can be as simple or colourful as you’d like. Feedback gained from ‘viewers’ indicates the desire to keep it simple with only the main sponsor, organisation and venue logos. Not only does this ensure the page is easy to load, it also ensures viewers are not distracted from the action and overloaded with advertisements that fade into one.
Post match we are able to offer an editing service to allow you to keep the footage on file for future promotion and broadcast.
Whatever your requirements, get in touch and we can create a bespoke package to ensure you get the most out of your event.
