Social Work Bursaries
Most social work students will receive the bursaries listed below, these are administered by the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) on behalf of the Department of Health. Full Time Undergraduates
Eligible full time undergraduate students studying social work will receive a non-means tested bursary of up to £4,572 which includes an element for fees (students are responsible for paying their own fees). They can also apply for the statutory student loans and grants available to undergraduate students through Student Finance England.
Part Time Undergraduates
Eligible part time students can apply for a non means tested bursary and will be liable for paying their own fees.
Full Time Post Graduates
The bursary for eligible post graduate students will consist of a non-income assessed grant of £3,362 and income assessed grant of up to £2,608 and maintenance grant, but post graduate students will not be eligible for Statutory Loans and Grants.
Part Time Post Graduates
Eligible students can apply for a non means tested bursary which includes help with travel and fees.
