Disabled Students’ Allowance
The Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is available to help with any extra studying costs that are incurred as a result of your disability and may be applied for through Student Finance England. Applications can be made at any time before or during your course and how much you get does not depend on your income or that of your family. You will not have to repay this help. Click here to visit the Student Finance England website for more information and to download an application form. You can also phone Student Finance England on 0845 300 5090. You can also download 'Bridging the Gap: A Guide to the Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs) here. Contact the University of Worcester’s Disability and Dyslexia Co-ordinators, Alice Kemble-Davies or Steve Joyce on 01905 855413 and 01905 855514 for help and advice concerning your application and support whilst studying.
