Basic I.T. guides
Basic I.T. guides
As of September 2011, all University student computers on campus will be upgraded to Office 2010. If you have not used this version of Office before, some of the changes can seem confusing. However, most changes are fairly straightforward. The resources on this page are designed to help you to familiarise yourself with the new programme.
From the left hand menu, you can download an introduction to I.T. booklet that covers the basics needed to write your first assignment in Office 2010 and Office 2007. The guides cover double line spacing, inserting page numbers and saving your work. The Office 2010 booklet also covers saving documents to the Sky Drive online file storage.
For any queries, you can go to the IT helpdesk based in the Peirson Library. There are also some basic IT workshops that you can attend that will cover the contents of the basic IT booklet, to find the dates of these workshops and sign up go to www.worc.ac.uk/workshops
