Fees, Finance & Scholarships
Your tuition fees cover teaching, assessment, examinations, library and computer facilities, welfare support, English language support and graduation.
When Do I Pay?
Fees are payable in full at the beginning of each academic year of your course.
Early Payment Discount
A 5% discount will be awarded to those students who pay the full International fee on or before registration.
Student Loan for Tuition Fees 2009/2010
The Government will pay tuition fees for EU students and will make you a loan for the amount. The money is paid direct to the University of Worcester on your behalf.
You do not make any repayments while you are in full-time study. You only start to repay your loan when you have left your course and are earning over £15,000, if you are working in the UK. You only have to pay back 9% of your earnings above £15,000 a year, so someone earning £20,000 would only repay around £9 a week. If you stop working, you stop making repayments.
For threshold levels in different European countries, see the table below.
The interest charged by the government on the student loan is lower than commercial rates and is only intended to keep pace with inflation - changes in the cost of living.
