The University of Worcester is one of the fastest growing universities in the UK. In 2007/08 student numbers exceeded 8,000 and 2008/09 is expected to be a record year, applications for 2007 were up 35% compared with 2006. This expansion is set to continue according to a KMPG study which suggests a student headcount of 12,000 students by 2012.
This dramatic growth creates a huge demand for good quality, well managed property across many areas of the city. Currently the University of Worcester houses almost 600 of its full-time students in university residences - the majority being first year undergraduates. Landlords in the private sector play a vital role in housing a large proportion of our new and continuing students.
