Starting university life is an exciting and challenging time and arranging a place to live is high on the list for many students. The University of Worcester offers a wide range of quality accommodation, with plenty of choice in location, price and facilities.
Your living space at University will not only be a place to eat, sleep and study, but it will surround you with a ready made, close-knit community. The Accommodation Team are here to help you find ‘Your Space’ and to make sure it suits your needs and your budget.
All first-year undergraduates who accept a conditional or unconditional offer by 1 May 2010 are guarenteed a place in our accommodation.

Our Accommodation Team is on hand to give you advice, help you apply and support you throughout your time at University, making sure you are happy and settled in your new home. With a range of accommodation options and lots of choice, we will help you find the space that is right for you.
Halls of Residence are the perfect place to fully embrace university life and quickly make new friends.We offer Halls options to suit every budget and need, from Bronze at £73 per week to the £121 per week Platinum Plus. All tenancies run for a standard term of 38 weeks although we will accommodate students for longer if their course demands.

A choice of accommodation designed for you
Whichever option suits you best, you will still benefit from: free internet access; no extra charges for gas, electricity and water; compliance with the Universities UK Code of Practice for the Management of Student Accommodation; 24-hour security; welfare support; 24-hour emergency maintenance; contents insurance; free bedding pack; facilities for self catering; and recycling facilities and free gym membership.

The charges for accommodation include broadband internet access. A bedding pack consisting of a duvet, duvet cover, pillow, pillow case and fitted sheet is also included in the cost.
All of the prices listed are for self-catered accommodation.
Deposit
A refundable damage deposit is set at £300.00 (payable upon signing Licence Agreement).
Privately Rented Accommodation Off Campus
The Accommodation Team will be pleased to advise you about fees, which will vary according to the individual accommodation and terms of your tenancy agreement. The University and Landlords work closely together to ensure that realistic rents and terms are agreed, but you will need to negotiate these with your individual Landlord.

If you have confirmed Worcester as your first choice by the end of April and are eligible for University or University managed accommodation, application details will be sent out with joining instructions from Admissions from the second week in May and accommodation is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Therefore it is important that you return your form as soon as possible.
All accommodation is mixed but single sex accommodation is usually available on request.
University accommodation is allocated for a complete academic year. You will be asked to sign a License Agreement for a specific period and you will need to pay for that time
