The layout of the work place and equipment to ensure its suitability for the member of staff must be checked by means of a Workstation Assessment.There is guidance available from the HSE relating to the use of computers in the leaflet 'Working with VDU’s' available from the link below.
Some employees may be entitled to vision screening and further examination by an optician, if necessary.
