Parking, and Catering Arrangements

Car Parking & Travel Expenses

Employees may apply for a pass to park on the campus car parks, there are regulations governing parking and penalties for those who do not comply.

Cycle parks are shown on the campus map, several are under cover.

Travel expenses are paid to employees when travelling on University business. There are also regulations concerning the use of hire cars that can be explained by the Finance Department.

Catering

Catering is provided by an outside company which provides a full service in the main dining room 'Henwicks' from 0800 to 1915 (Friday 1700), and the coffee shop 'Cafe Connections' from 0845 to 2030 (Wednesday 1700, Friday 1600) in teaching weeks.

Catering for meetings and conferences can be provided by contacting the Catering Manager - Extension 5179

There is a catering user group to which comments about the service can be addressed; the chair of the group is the Head of Student Services.
