Periods of notice are stated in individual contracts of employment and are summarised below

Senior managers
3 months

Academic staff
2 months

Support staff
1 month

Employees who intend to leave are advised to contact the Personnel Department as well as notifying their immediate line manager, to discuss their plans. Interviews are arranged with all leavers as a means of collecting feedback about the University and its employment policies. Calculation of any outstanding leave can be made using the tables shown in the document attached.
