Personal Tutor Toolkit

Please note that from September 2011 the Academic Tutor System will replace the role of Personal Tutor for all new undergraduates joining the University. Full implementation of the Academic Tutor System will be in two phases: Phase 1 will see initial changes being made for first year undergraduate students starting in September 2011 and then Phase 2 will enable the system to be fully embedded into courses from September 2012. The personal tutor website is designed to support academic staff undertaking a personal tutor role at the University. You can download the staff guide for personal tutors, which includes information about the role of a personal tutor, suggested content for tutor groups and tutee meetings, and details of other sources of support.
