Staff Development
Partner colleagues are invited and welcome to attend all staff development events arranged by the University. Please access the full staff development calendar for details of future sessions and how to book your place.
The New Partner Staff Induction Day is held annually for any partner staff who are new to working with UW provision - either on new courses or new staff on existing teams. The day is designed to introduce new colleagues from partner institutions to the University, UW systems and the support we can offer to both partner staff and students, and serves as a useful induction for these colleagues. The event is also open to any colleagues who would welcome a reminder of UW processes and systems. The event for 2010/11 was held on Tuesday 12th October 2010 - if you were unable to attend but would welcome copies of the presentations please contact Margaret Chaffey.
A briefing morning was held on Thursday 9th September 2010 to update partner staff and Link Tutors regarding recent changes to a number of the University's regulations and policies, including changes to the academic year, timing of reassessment and examination boards, regulatory changes from September 2010, updates to the staff SOLE pages and new guidance on the Link Tutor role.
If you would like further details or copies of the presentations, please contact Debbie Hodson.
