Partner colleagues are invited and welcome to attend all staff development events arranged by the University.  Please access the full staff development calendar for details of future sessions and how to book your place.

The New Partner Staff Induction Day is held annually for any partner staff who are new to working with UW provision - either on new courses or new staff on existing teams.  The day is designed to introduce new colleagues from partner institutions to the University, UW systems and the support we can offer to both partner staff and students, and serves as a useful induction for these colleagues.  The event is also open to any colleagues who would welcome a reminder of UW processes and systems. 

The event for 2015/16 is took place on 15th January 2016, if you were unable to attend but would like copies of the presentations please contact Nicola Rawlings.


The Partner Staff Development Day is held annually for all partner staff working with UW provision. The event for 2016/17 will take place on Monday, 17th October 2016, at the University Arena, to reserve your place please contact Nicola Rawlings.

The UW Partner Staff Development Day 2015/16 took place on 15th September 2015. The day was a useful opportunity for discussion, sharing of good practice and networking. Please contact Sue Cuthbert for copies of the presentations.


All partner Registered Lecturers, Registered HE Managers and Registered Administrators may be eligible for a 50% discount on higher-level programmes offered by the University.

In addition, all partner Registered Lecturers are eligible for fee waiver on the University's PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education when delivered at the University.

Please note that the University is also a member of both ASET and the Association for Collaborative Provision of Higher Education in Further Education in England.
